Is this workshop for me/ FAQs:
Who is this workshop for? While we recognize that the needs and experiences of those who have experienced loss at different stages of pregnancy or soon after delivery are different, we are leaving this workshop open to all women who have experienced pregnancy or early infant loss. In the past, our workshops have included women with losses that occurred in various stages of pregnancy, women who have terminated pregnancies due to medical concerns, women with a history of multiple losses, women undergoing fertility treatment, and women who have lost babies soon after birth.
What if my loss was quite recent or happened some time ago? It is our hope to foster an environment of inclusivity and mutual support that will be beneficial to all women who have experienced a loss, regardless of type or how recent the loss was.
Can I come if I am currently pregnant? Yes- but please notify us first. All of the movement is gentle and safe for pregnancy, but we would like to plan ahead for you, as well as to be sensitive to the other participants.
What is the difference between a peer led support group and your workshop? Many women find it beneficial to connect with others who have experienced similar losses and find peer support groups to be particularly helpful. We have found that our workshop offers the benefits of peer support and community building, with the additional benefit of a professional led experience. We have designed the workshop based on our years of experience to include specific practices that we have found to be the most helpful in supporting our clients after pregnancy loss.
