About Me
I'm Emily, a clinical social worker licensed in Washington, DC, and Virginia. I am passionate about women’s mental health and specialize in perinatal mental health. Through my experience working as a social worker in a Mother-Baby Unit, I have gained expertise in supporting parents navigating difficult prenatal diagnoses, pregnancy and infant loss, and the experience of the NICU.
I also enjoy helping new parents navigate the joys and challenges of parenting. I believe that women should have agency over their bodies and their lives, and work to make sure my clients feel empowered at all stages of their reproductive journeys.

Your story and your journey through motherhood and parenting is unique. As such, I tailor my approach to meet the specific needs and goals of my clients, integrating various therapeutic techniques and strategies including solution-focused therapy, relational interventions, and cognitive behavior therapy. I seek to help you understand your emotions, discover new perspectives, and build on your innate strengths and resilience.
My relationship and connection with my clients always come first, and I seek to develop honest and authentic connections with everyone I work with.
