           Setting Healthy Boundaries with Others

Setting healthy boundaries in relationships is a way of asserting how you want to be treated and telling people what your limits are. It’s a foundational skill in supporting healthy relationships with others. There are lots of ways questions around boundary setting are coming up right now. Perhaps you are “social distancing” with your family and it would be helpful to think about establishing boundaries around your time and space, or even how you are spoken to. Perhaps boundaries would be useful in thinking about managing relationships with friends or family who are causing use additional anxiety right now. Setting boundaries is an act of self-care and a great way to protect your mental health.
